I dont think this is true. I think she knows what's she's in for but is fighting through everything for her ideals. That's just how much she values people and it has probably been reinforced like heck through being a Magical Girl. What I'm worried about is how most magical girls have like a timelimit or something.

This manga is a subversion of the magical girl genre, where there's gore and death and re-shaking of the very foundations of the genre
Oh wait, this has been every other mahou shoujo work that came out in the last two decades
