@boag I think your description of Mushoku Tensei (I assume that's what you mean with MT) with "everyone is horrible" is very inaccurate. Yeah, there's a prominent number of dickweeds and psychopaths, but the substantial majority are human. Significantly flawed (Paul and Lelia), way too angry (Ruijard), and I could keep going on and on forever, but they're all people just like anyone on this website.
It's a little hard to remember when so many manga have nothing but oversimplified caricatures of stereotypes as their cast, but a truly realistic story has characters that you don't fully like. People who, for all their good traits, sometimes do shit that just absolutely fucking infuriates you, because it's so much less than what you've seen them do before.
