I feel like this manga just really wants to make it more like daily life in another world rather than reminding us what the final goal is. I can appreciate it deviates from a lot of other action otherworldly adventures in that sense. Though I do think the topic of the mirrors was dragged a bit too much lol they could have done it more in the background i guess or do short time skips to that end.

Unfortunately it is the same in the ln and wn. At least in the manga we get sex scenes and less of Michio's paranoia.

Don't get me wrong, I really like slice of life stuff, but a good slice of life stories focuses on the characters and their interactions. That's what this is missing.

Hell K-On! Managed to make a full episode about getting a passport fun snd entertaining.

Honestly I don'g think the author actually know what he wants the story to be. It vacilates between a progressive lit rpg, standard op isekai fantasy, and sol romance.

i've spent a lot of time on the wiki and it lists his next 3 slaves, but makes no mention of a kid other than one he kinda sorta had in an alternate timeline on his first day in this world who he never actually met. I don't really get it but i dont think that kid is canon though he weirdly does appear as a teenager in the anime
