But yeah Miria is still in a bit of a rush but other than any forbidden zone I imagine it'd be easier for their next "day off" to just give her a fishing rod and supply herself as much as she wants

Yes, but he gave her more expensive silver and gold coins, which are items. Cheapest copper coins aren't. He experimented on it in chapter 7

It seems as if they don't go in just because he is out of slots, so i almost thought that i "remembered wrong", but his explorer lvl is 3, and in the empty item box with 3 slots should be able to store gold, silver and copper coins. So it appears that it's more of a translation issue.

So i consulted the WN (chapter 17):

Silver Coin.

Oh, I can use judgement on it.
It didn’t even occur to me to use judgement on a coin.

With this, the fear of getting counterfeit money is gone.
But using judgement on a coin one by one is also troublesome.

I can put four silver coins into it.
In the next space I can fit four silver coins as well.

That retired level 47 explorer being a fishmonger was a surprise - The levels get that high and you are not considered a known individual, huh.
They got a long way ahead of them.

Level 47 explorer isn't actually that great. I mean, he is definitely a veteran, but not anything particularly exceptional. Jobs in that world have layers, once you reach certain levels in the job, you unlock the next "advanced job" and start from the lvl 1 again.

By the way, the condition to unlock "adventurer" job is to reach lvl 50 in "explorer". So, any adventurer that you ever saw using fieldwalk are more veteran than that fishmonger

I find it so weird the way he was concerned for her consent or approval, rather ... While he has not been a complete animal, up until this point he wouldn't hesitate to push the down on the bed lol At least we were not shown as much "concern" in thep ast.

Well from his point of view Roxanne and Sherry already consented by being sold into slavery and being informed that they were being sold primarily as sex slaves beforehand (God that was a gross sentence to type). However, Miria was punished into slavery in a way I'd assume was similar to the man from the village and even if she was informed of becoming a sex slave she probably didn't understand because it was not about fish. I believe that's where his trepidation comes from.

Honestly, that whole slaves consenting to have sex is the wierdest thing about this series. it's just wierdly squeamish about the reality of slavery. They girls still can't say know, whether they want to have sex with him or not.

it is a wish fulfillment series after all. wonder if we'll ever get a 'genderbend' ver of them where we see a female leader with a male harem/slaves unless it's uncommon to find male slaves that might not 'control' themselves or her also buying female slaves, or maybe a gay man in a party but i imagine we won't see anything like that (well not that they'd be open about it in this kinda world) [i don't remember if that elf noble and his wife's party when they all went in together, if any of those party members were slaves or not], i don't know if the artist has drawn ppl walking around with slaves as like average helpers/babysitters/chores versus specifically for the dungeon but despite his appraisal skill being op/useful to where he wouldn't (tho luke seems trust worthy) be scammed into getting a fake crystal from a merchant bidding on his behalf/his OP bonus sword/skills, idk if he'll get dragged into the cliche "saving the world" kinda thing

the others from the same shop did seem to be speaking another language as well so maybe she heard about it but given how 'amazing' mc will be at providing and cooking fish i'm sure it's not an issue

oh neat. i know ppl are more reading this for the girls but wonder if there'll be some spinoff or 'side-quel' of more charas within this world to do more lore dumps/worldbuilding, but considering it's not against the law to retaliate against thieves/bandits, being pickpocketed isn't too much of a concern (idk if it's based on a specific rpg with all the classes but imagine if they had the budget to make a game adaptation lol)

Miria is a sille addition to the team. Quite nice to see her with clear motivations and a bit of the physical talent. I imagine coordination in battle is quite dangerous until Miria gets the language down. She feels like a sort of mascot character right now.
