Bet we'll get an anime season 3 before the next member joins the crew in the manga.....
I can't understand why, when an adaptation gains popularity, they don't ask the mangaka working on it to try and speed up. It's not just this title, even Otonari Tenshi suffers from this for example.
I mean, the novel is good, it got the anime, why fuck up only the manga?
Also, that priest roxane was a DQ reference, right?

Holy shit, I just checked out the reviews for the novel on NU. It sounds like the absolute worst, and that I should be thankful the manga isn’t that bad.
I should have guessed something was up when this started with him looking up ways to.. self delete and the s3x slaves part, but buddy was working through some things.
Normally I wouldn’t pay attention to NU reviews as they’re way too picky, but I somehow feel these are on point.

From what I heard, the anime got review bombed, most likely because of the 'sex slave' part. So the chances of anime second season are, for now, pretty slim and it's most likely the reason for the thin chapters as of late; the artist lost the interest.

She REALLY loves fish, but is otherwise a little bit of an airhead.
she does try to follow orders when she is told what to do.
But she also gives 0 fucks about anything uninteresting if it is not worth its weight in fish and is energetic and hyperactive.
So she sometimes struggle to focus on things that does not give her immediate access to MORE FISH.
She was sold into slavery because she illegally fished for dinner where she was not allowed too.
The reason she was caught was that she spent too much time deciding on which off her illegally caught fish was the best.
but is very perceptive even if she does not always act on it.
She is also a surprisingly a good chef ( because it makes her fish taste better ) and picks up MC´s recipes very fast.
The reason she gets added to the party is because of how observant she is.
Her observation skill is on the same level as Roxanne dodging skills.
She usually notices the MC doing his shenanigans before everyone else in the party, but does not care most of the time.
and her observation skills allow her to see even invisible traps alot of times.
The talk about "chant interruption" on spears was foreshadowing her, as she uses both spears, swords and daggers.
She gets " Ninja" as her job,and becomes a front-line rouge type of character who specialize in de-buffing opponents.
The ninja class have stealth abilities but also makes "lucky hits" like critical strikes and " on hit effects " more likely.
Once she gets weapons with stuff like poison,silence, chant interruption and other debuffs from " on hit effects" she becomes a monster at killing bosses as you only need to de-buff 1 opponent for huge benefits.
Later on in the story she even gets petrification which makes her sometimes start 1 shooting monsters.
When reading by batches its not that bad, only when you caught up and waiting for a new one then you got his paranoia again. Worst part is when he got his party completed, at this part it's somewhat justifiable but at this point:

Man, I LOVE this manga. The anime was basically one of the few that made me actually want to read manga after like a decade of only ever watching anime (not a super "watcher", I just never really read, and occasionally watched some stuff in my teens), but when I watched this anime I really wanted to see more and decided to read the manga. Nowadays I read all types of things, from manga to manhwas and manhuas, but it's been almost a year since I started reading and we got like 10 chapters and they barely have any pages nowadays :/
One thing I really dislike about our protagonist here is that he just keep things to himself instead of sharing it with the people that his (and theirs) life depend on AND they are from this world, they might say things that COULD help him or give him ideas... In that sense I prefer much more The Jobless Cheat Isekai because he TRUSTS his girls (in all senses possible LMAO) and it's worth it to wait a month for a chapter because the chapters are VERY long.
From what it looks like MC will never tell them about being from another world and that he can do lots of cool things literally no one else can. Ok they might be "spies" or "bad people" that will snitch on him, but at this point it's pretty clear that Roxanne
would do basically anything for him because she is the bestest girl.

It's been a few years since i read it, but i remember the LN was also really slow and was about 98% dungeoning diary and 2% goodstuff. The manga is WAY better.

It's the second time I see you talking about paranoia. Can you explain a bit more? Is this about his concerns that the church or kingdom will hunt him down if they discover he can change classes/jobs at will? I think I remember something like that from dozens and dozens of chapters ago?
