@timetravelingcat - from the moral perspective of civilization, I get you finding contradictions in their readiness to accept such a system, but compared to other democratic/ liberal states, Japan still has a very strict, hierarchical society in which it is not uncommon to treat those on a lower social ladder akin to slaves.
As you said, mandatory overtime and drinks with the boss are pretty much a given, making the sheer question "would you like to join ... ?" hypocricy.

On the other hand, living the adventurer live with skills and women succumbing to my desire, I can't say I wouold abstain given the isekai chance...

I think you're missing one very important thing when it comes to manga. Different authors will handle different subject matter differently. Expecting some common ground is rather silly when Japan from what I can tell isn't as heavy handed when it comes to stories as other places are. The way you are requesting slavery be treated has been done in other manga. Examples being a MC buying the slaves to give them a home helping him or setting them free. Liberating them and returning them to their home if they were forcibly removed etc etc. Finding the one version you don't like then crapping on it as a whole is not a positive thing to do.

That's a simple question to answer. People have different taste. What is one man's trash is another man's treasure. Not sure why people have forgotten this. This manga is a 5 to you but a 7.5 for me depending on what you're after.

Im actually curious how committed the anime adaptation is going to be, aside from the sex, this manga is more talkative than action oriented, so I expect they will be cutting a lot of content, but who knows.

I get that you are in another world and shit, but they are always harem isekai, wish there was a bit more of variety in it but oh well I mostly read isekais to kill time.
