She should stick to being an assassin, that's a terrible way to make a job offer :lul:

Guess she thought the pen was a bullet?

Zeke is more skilled than I thought blocking that first strike :meguupog:

What do you mean they don't know what an abacus is.

Would most people if they've never seen one before? I don't think my first thought would be, "I can use this for math!"

It's just a pen, how can you say and think it's a weapon of mass destruction that can kill a dragon in single blow? :haa: and the girl elf Wolverine here

I just feel like an abacus like device would be created in a world where money exists. Its a tool to count, I want to see what kind of weird counting tool they have in this world now. They have desks, they know what those are.

I'd be curious to see what kind of tools they use too lol

Like @kazaofkkua said, it could be that they're just ignorant of it because they're not merchants, but it's also possible this society never invented one or stopped using it far enough in the past that no one uses it any more.

There's a lot of countries where they never seen an abacus, because it's just never had been used there...
At a first glace, to somebody not familiar with it, it would look like a sound making thingy, or one of those pressure point foot massagers with wooden rollers...
