No, this is an inevitable problem that can’t be ignore. Even if MC take it slow, it would only mean he try to fight low level monster with Maria and when the big one appear he would need to fight while defend her just like in This chapter. Lastiara is right, their disposition are too different, with each level they gain, the difference will just become wider. If she fight with MC in the labyrinth only for him take her to beat low level monster then MC is better go solo because he would be better that way. Someone who can fight together with MC is Lastiara level.Maria probably wouldn't have gotten into this problem if not for Lastaria trying to speedrun this shit, MC has been doing side quest so far as he knows the actual dangers of the dungeon and has been helping her got to a level that she could fight too, but Lastaria made all that go to shit (worse of all, she's doing it on purpose) because they went down faster before Maria could get some experience... poor MC his power to rizz wackos is too big.
My reading of this is slightly different. It isn't about the levels it's about how much their power or ability increases with each level.Maria probably wouldn't have gotten into this problem if not for Lastaria trying to speedrun this shit, MC has been doing side quest so far as he knows the actual dangers of the dungeon and has been helping her got to a level that she could fight too, but Lastaria made all that go to shit (worse of all, she's doing it on purpose) because they went down faster before Maria could get some experience... poor MC his power to rizz wackos is too big.
Now that I look at their disposition, Maria’s is nowhere bad, she is almost comparable to the knight, it’s just MC and Lastiara are monster level. My reading of this is slightly different. It isn't about the levels it's about how much their power or ability increases with each level.
This is explained/exemplified on chapter 28, page 15 where he compares himself at level 11 to someone at level 21. He meets or beats nearly all of their attributes (magic, strength, etc) because his "disposition" is 7.0 and theirs is 1.57. Maria's disposition is 1.52 so for her to be even remotely equal to the MC she would have to be 10+ levels ahead of him (and this quantity would only increase over time).
So, yeah, he could spend time leveling her up so she could "fight too" but she would never be able to fight on par with him.
Yeah, she wants to show them the difference in power. Which is... questionable, but not completely unreasonable, in the harsh truth kind of way. It depends entirely on what MC wants to do. If he wants to improve at a fast pace, he can't really do it with Maria.(worse of all, she's doing it on purpose)
I doubt there will be such an OP skill. If MC only want to make money in the labyrinth then yes, it is doable. But MC's goal is conquering the labyrinth, then it will be hard for him to bring Maria with him, there is a high chance that she would just die when they go to the deeper level and if so, making it clear sooner the better. MC and Maria both realized this, they just want to deceived themselves out of guilt though. You never want to fight a pack.
Not only are they mimicking them, they're mocking them. Taunting them. And they're successful.
Fur being dense isn't why you can't cut it. It might be extra tough or thick or something, but density is generally not much of an issue with a sword.
Reflecting on mistakes is good. And I like that he says both of them made ones.

The exception would be if she could learn skills or magics that cover for their stat differences.
Well, it's sad that Maria can't go with Kanami into the labyrinth but she can still support him outside the labyrinth so it's still good. Her situation improved a lot already. And her disposition is almost comparable to a holy knight ( the beastman girl ) so she can be said to be a lot stronger than average human.Feel sorry for Maria. She is in though spot
She has her reasons and it seems understandable. She is strong, but forced to be couped up and not allowed to do shit. She has finally gotten some freedom and wishes to take advantage of it no matter what. She is still a kid.I never liked Lastaria in the first place, but with each chapter I like her even less and less

For me personally, I like Dia the most. Lastiara is insane and basically can read you with her eyes, she is kind but has no filter. Maria is just like the MC, she is good at hiding her emotions and lying. Worse is she has eyes that can see if you are telling the truth or not. Dia is dumb, but at least she is honest and easy to read. Of course, Maria and Lastiara are far more interesting in a story, but reading Dia's part is just calming. But, TBH, Maria is the one with the best personality outside all his potential comrades MC meet. She couldn't go with him is a shame though. Lastiara is troublesome ( maybe it's because she lived too sheltered before that is why she can be so reckless ) but still smart enough, Dia is straight up dumb. Just personality wise I like Maria most, after that is Lastiara and last is Dia.
