Sending her out with a smile. How lovely."Please give her a good one."
It's gonna take a hot minute before Dia takes the spotlight. Like, a very, very long hot minute, seriously. Several years with this upload speed.I wonder if the Dia plotline will ever return. I honestly don't mind this either, but the author is introducing so many different characters and the plot has changed so drastically, it almost feels like the author just forgot about previous plotlines. The enthusiasm is also kind of waning because the plot is quite sloggy imo, and without actual likeable supporting cast, the series feels really hollow.
Lol, watch the series get axed before then. It's gonna take a hot minute before Dia takes the spotlight. Like, a very, very long hot minute, seriously. Several years with this upload speed.
iirc, this chapter takes place on vol. 2 of the novel, and Dia "functionally" joins back the party on what? Vol. 5? (and even then, kanami has so many problems by that point it'll take even longer for dia to actually take the spotlight)
I'd honestly be disappointed, but not surprisedLol, watch the series get axed before then.

I'm kinda expecting a lotta people to (reasonably) drop this during the Laoravia arc after this one, since the entire story is basically "reset" for some time. Things do quickly (too quickly) start getting juicy once it's done. I'm currently reading vol. 8 and the pacing just feels so weird with the Laoravia arc taking 3 whole volumes, and now, with vol. 8, these massive lore dumps that could easily be spread out between like 5 volumes just getting thrown at the reader non-stop for an entire book. Still really like the series, I enjoy the lore, the switch in the pacing just felt too intense.
It'll be explained... One day... Give it a couple years...Oof this was a bad comment section for Dia supporters ngl. Worst part is she's the only character in this thats interesting to me so far. Im still interested in the mechanics behind these random status but so far 0 explanation at all.
yesI think every characters in this series have some kind of problems.
The series follows a two volume structure with a setup (usually silly and weird, somewhat disconnected from the gravity of the plot) and a bossfight. The beginning feels kind of bad because the first "bossfight" (Tida) is a "tutorial", it doesn't feel like it has any weight and it doesn't really go anywhere.I wonder if the Dia plotline will ever return.
