Well, this type of story will never go a dark route, so I don't have to worry about it.

I regret to inform you that this is not necessarily true. I can't spoil the story because I have only read what's available here, but from my experience from other "fluffy" stories (and not necessarily the animal kind of "fluff" but the emotional kind) things can always go to a "dark" place.
Ratings going poorly? Add drama. Still going poorly, or (worse) recovered once then went down again? Add (more) drama...
There have been some stories that have had severe emotional whiplash... Barrier Master (Isekai) is a prime example...

Personally I hope that you are correct. Unfortunately this is the real world and it's often difficult to tell exactly "what people want" at any given time. People tend to not merely "adjust" but over adjust...

might depend but given that he got OP skills from the cat god it prolly wouldn't last too long (or maybe luke and if he gets 'stronger familiars' go on 'patrol' while he's sleeping to take care of potential enemies so he can just focus on running the cafe), nothing wrong with being cute and wholesome

(B/c other than the isekai element and able to talk to the animals i'm sure it'd be within the realm of 'realism' for a 'normal' ver of this story for him to be 'fed up with his office job, quit and establish a cat cafe/work for his fave one')

Yeah i doubt he'll meet the king/noble/royalty but i can imagine a snooty merchant demanding he hand over his place or pets, but i imagine even 'normal' tamers wouldn't easily hand over their tamed beasts since some 'pets' besides berry rabbits prolly wouldn't be too calm to live in a fancy house lol
