Helian has to make proper decisions like a king would and he's not estranged to it either. This guy learned all etiquette and mannerisms of a king just to justify his roleplay back when it was just a game.

Wow, this is some really good stuff. The earlier chapters were kinda wishy washy but mostly because Helian didn't really have a clear goal other than "find out what's going on". Now Helian is going hardball after that death, despite his very clear weakness. I'm seriously hooked.

I'm... kinda disappointed at his decision, I was expecting that he'll atleast vassalize or Annex(maybe not cuz of ongoing internal strife) Latestwood since they are on a brink of destruction and he don't benefit that much from just helping them in short term cuz:

1. Economically: Nonexistent
2. Technologically: Inferior
3. Army: Nonexistent

I hope they got vassalize then later annexed but helping with little benefit works too in the long run so I guess its not a bad idea but also not good.

The benefit of non-intervention:

• Less risk of exposing themselves to the outside world
• He can have more time stabilizing Archimaira
• More time to plan/strategize their moves in the future

-The downsides:

• Opportunity for future Alliance/Vassalizing Latestwood wil be pospone or will never happen
• Emotional Damage (His morals and principles too i guess)
• Isolationism?

The benefit of Intervening:

• Future Alliance or Vassalisation?
• Getting information much faster
• Feeling Good about it
• Open for diplomatic interaction
• Trade

-The downsides:

• Exposing their country to the outside world
• More risk destabilizing the nation
• Possibly More wars
• Time and materials strengthening Latestwood

I'm just going to say this. It wouldn't be a foolish choice no matter how you look at it. He can already understand both sides from the actions taken from each side. In this world it amounts to pure racism. It would be foolish to take the side of racist people if you consider the people of his kingdom being a mixture of races.

The advantages outweight the disadvantages because:
1. Sooner or later his kingdom will get discovered by other kingdoms.
2. Make alliance with other kingdom= easier to make future plans and because information become faster.
3. Additional laborers who knows how the world's works
