Probably just flustered and confused because of how strong she's coming at him and the fact that she doesn't look like 10. More like 15-16. Which is still obviously not okay. But that couple with the fact that he just got stuck in a game that turned to reality probably doesn't make for the best combo for rational thinking.

Also seeing as this isn't actually Earth or even the same world as the game was set in, there's nothing saying that 1 year there is equal to 365, 24h days.
