The MC has a kingdom full of monster, he literaly submited murder maniac ogre, and from what we know his kingdom was massive and was created with continuous war.
So yeah i doubt it's going to be like Overlord, but Overlord is objectively poorly writen. It's fun but it's just a powerfantasy where all the management of peoples and politics are made to be overly edgy.

This is about a guy overstressed from all angles and trying to be cautious then suffer the consequences for it. Learning to connect not just with his subordinates but also with the new world he's found himself in.

Saying Overlord is a power fantasy is like saying One Punch Man is a power fantasy. The conflict is internal, Ainz struggles with isolation, not some big bad. (He is the big bad).
