Also, if you know who I am, you'll know that I like to critcize the living shit outta all the badly shape weapons or actions executed improperly...

Well in this chapter, I will say that those guards of the sword and possibly a dagger have horribly thick guard, not only will it not help, it will also made it harder to handle while using. Although you may try to argue that "He's actually powerful so it bypasses these rules" in reality it doesn't do as much. The only think the strength of the user can do is to held it back from being out of edgealignment...
