The ending felt really rushed...I'm sure there were better ways to prolong the story without giving us this half-assed happy marriage life

uhhhh imagine stabbing a child for not wanting to study or work snjkdajso
yes, she could have just done 1(one) chore that helps and theyd all be thankful as heck..just look at tsukina..wowie hq charms wow
yes, she was endangering people but also

*points at the prince :*
- also endangers people during the subjugation, nobody was even pissed at him
-literally triggers her destruction spell Twice...
-his only crime? stabbing a savior, he had to turn himself in or nobody would even punish him
-"he's brainwashed/charmed by the girl!!"-> he's... still useless after his spell is removed
if its a crime for the girl to be useless, why would he, a grown ass prince of a country, get away with being useless?

"saviors are supposed to save ppl!"-> god roped them in saying they could do whatever the hell they wanted, as long they live peacefully

tldr: i just dont like the way it goes "girl bad and is a nuisance -> girl removed, everything's solved!"

anyways, good on tsukina for getting to continue her ideal neet hobbyist lifestyle.. until next volume

I like you, I would like to court you...
said no man to me ever...

And this single scene compensated for the extremely rushed things

Um, so it's like... finished? But there will be a sequel? Something like that?
I'm a bit confused 😅 Thank you very much for the chapters <3

And agreed, the ending was a bit rushed. I was looking forward to the showdown between Tsukina and the other saviour (hello, character development! maybe) and then hoped that okay, maybe they keep it a secret that Tsukina is the saviour everyone is looking for, but later, it'll come out in the open and then there will be new adventures. Moderate adventures, of course, because Tsukina is that sort of person ;)

I would've been fine if it ended here, even if it did feel a bit rushed.

I wonder if the new saviour will be some self righteous brat with an overdeveloped sense of justice or something

It may get axed after this, my understanding was this storyline up to chapter 12 was planned for it to be the end, from here it may be running on momentum

I think the prince stabbed her because he has been indulging her for quite a while and i. the subjugation he saw how his actions almost cost the lives (not sure if that one guy died) of people like one that was so important to him and in this case, I think he has tried to talk to her properly about how she has to learn magic it’s just that she was raised spoiled and thought she could enjoy all the benefits of being named a savior but do none of the work. So as I was trying to say in the case of this scenario he saw the scale of what could happen to all the citizens if she continued her tantrum/ emotional outburst so he killed her. If Tsukina was not there and did not have the abilities of a savior then all the more-so was his decision I think the right one as a prince of his kingdom.

note: sry if i got any details wrong this is just my pov on the situation 😊

I agree. Certainly the other saviour was a brat but she was hardly treated correctly. First she was spoiled rotten then she was stabbed and whisked away.

That prince is truly a moron too and the only saving grace is that he's somewhat aware he's fucked up.

I'm also not a fan of how he stabbed her in the belly then just stood there waiting for her to die. Sure, it's lethal, but there are better places to stab for a quick death and instead the saviour was given an agonizing death, which also meant that her magic was allowed to go wild. Did he also need to do it during a festival in front of everyone?

It's probably one of those cases where the author was told vol 2 was the last volume, but then the publisher last minute realizes it's selling well now and it wants more. So now, despite the author rushing the ending, they now have to figure out how to continue the story.

Happens with TV shows too.

Omg what a simple and cute romance I love it. I think they could have used one more chapter to flesh out their happy ending (I wanted to see her in a wedding dress😭) and wrapped up the story. I don’t know how I feel about a second volume I feel like this raps up the story. Maybe making a spin-off or a separate series’s for the new savior would be a better idea. I really don’t want extra unnecessary drama to come to her and her husband.
