After 10 years it finally happened. Honestly, I'm surprised the MC already met with them, vs the animals talking about them first for a bit.

It's the sudden shift of POV.
The novel does that a lot, most of the time you would get these gaps in between, but when they change POV, sometimes we get flashbacks, other times no, so you would be the one to connect them lol.
Last chapter was the pup's pov, this one is of the beastkids.
im guessing next chapter we would go back to the default pov which is MCs.
if not, then maybe Koa's or Chai's.. coz no doubt the pups did tell on their parents.

I just don't remember if they brought the beastkids inside the barrier or if they brought MC near the edge of the barrier..

Yep, its as simple as the writer understanding that no one worries about super OP characters and creating a bunch of side characters to be concerned for. The main character is just a fun plot device the world centers around.

Saitama and Genos are living prof of this concept. And more than successful at that.

well, they only dropped isekai walking b/c the 'official' english for that was already caught up, no? I imagine unless there's a bulk release of 20 chapters overnight, the fan translation will still be ahead (tho we're caught up to the JP raws too, not counting the novel)
