I wonder what's the deal with the one who can't taste food. Maybe he tastes magic and Jean is imbuing his cooking with it unconsciously? Is he actually a spirit himself for the other guy and he copied his looks?

The back and forth of them backing out of the deal and then coming back in and Jean backing out until they pushed for a contract was quite something.

It's nice to see that Hyle is still hanging around. I thought that was the last of him when he went away from all the noise, but I guess he's found somewhere else to nap comfortably. Nice.

I doubt it's the case here, but IRL...

If something happened to you that severely impairs or destroys your sense of smell, it will also remove almost all of your ability to taste things because your sense of taste relies heavily on your sense of smell.

this will not the last time a deity is summoned.

They are also proactive and will change the contract if it is slightly detrimental to Jean and the spirit can't complain since the spirit in question is their direct boss

ahh right and in the end having hades marrying them pretty much solidified the wife position as she was being judge by the rest of the demons. Also hades was just a nice dude there... zeus was a prick and hefaestus was the bestest boi.

glad that Jean is getting that type of help here as pretty much her sister and the idiot bunch could try something in the future via contracts.

Well, the manga does explicitly mention the "level of desire of the signees"...
Those cookies aren't just worth killing for, they're worth summoning a god for - Jean's got plausible deniability here! Just gotta play it off as the guy being tsundere and not wanting to admit how much he craves cookies.
