I'm definitely looking forward to the next chapter. I mean, Jean is going to have to explain how a god spirit showed up for his contract, as it's quite obvious he's the cause.

I wonder what's the deal with the one who can't taste food. Maybe he tastes magic and Jean is imbuing his cooking with it unconsciously? Is he actually a spirit himself for the other guy and he copied his looks?

The back and forth of them backing out of the deal and then coming back in and Jean backing out until they pushed for a contract was quite something.

It's nice to see that Hyle is still hanging around. I thought that was the last of him when he went away from all the noise, but I guess he's found somewhere else to nap comfortably. Nice.
