Hmmm, moderately rare varient on the isekai formula, but I do like dude's attitude toward this and the fact that he got pulled in trying to help the kids rather than just happening to be in the wrong spot. Has some solid promise, biggest issue is the mildly rough typesetting.
The art is kinda rough, but the premise is nice. The old man trying to help these kids instead of abandoning them in search of a "slow life".
I will look at this with interest.
However, there is some work to be done on the typesetting. You can find guides on scanlation that recommend some more appropriate fonts. Also don't stretch text bubbles horizontally or vertically, it makes it hard to read.
It's a shame they left his corporate drone/salaryman job so vague because he should just be a contract attorney with what he's doing here. It would be fun to acknowledge that post-isekai work skills are as useful as the isekai child soldier experience that you could dsay inspired him to work in contract law. "Isekai Contract Attorney" itself is a pretty solid premise.
Thanks for the chapter, it got an interesting start i guess, at least the old man didn't get kicked out or abandoned the kids
This is an adaptation, the WN is from 2023 2022, ongoing and it got 257 chapters so far, the LN 4 Volumes and there is no translation for either (edit: WN is missing alot of chapters though, since it got serialized in alphapolis)
So. Basically kind of a Shujinko Janai situation, except with other Isekai protagonists.
You know what. Color me intrigued. This could actually end well depending on how well thought out and written all of this is. Also would be good to figure out if we're dealing with a soft power system or hard power system. By which I mean, Soft would be loose rules. Such as general concepts of mana manipulation and the flow of energy in your body being manipulated with a very vague idea of how much energy you have left to cast spells. Hard would be hard rules. Such as clear cut MP values and casting costs that leaves no ambiguity.
Right now I'm guessing we're dealing with a soft system.
I like this mc. Keeping them grounded, and making sure they don't just go blindly trusting what some random person is telling them. Though, he is also a random guy, I would be more inclined to trust someone in the same situation I'm in, than someone telling me I have to start killing people "cuz I said so.".
