It's been running for 8 years. That's 96 months, but we're on chapter 286.

However, you're correct that the art is usually very minimal effort (as is the writing). I'm convinced that is why this is still running despite how little happens in it: it can't be that much of a workload, and perhaps the artist has a cheaper contract than typical.
