That's right. Apparently MC's "healthy body" ability includes making him unmatched in bed activities. Like a beast.

I'm really curious as to what the original words used to address each other were, as they've clearly been localized.

So I looked up the raws, she called him Inju first, then Kedamono, couldn't decipher the third one, and then she settled for danna-sama. Also the part where they were discussing the salt and he calls her "dear" was added by the scantilators. I think these details matter because in Japanese the way you call someone is much ore important than in English, I don't like it when they aggressively localize things, some terms are better off left in romanji, but that's just my opinion.

isn't the real question why she would get smaller on panel 5? or am I dumb?

i get that at the end of ch 9 its implied sex so the start of the ch names make sense, but why does she get smaller around noon?

is it about her eating less or something? i genuinely dont get it

I’m pretty sure that the reasoning for her body getting smaller around noon is over the fact that she’s a vampire (or vampire demon). Only the most powerful of vampires can walk in the sunlight *cue Pillar Men theme*, so it would make sense that since she needs magical power to recover from wounds, the sun at noon would also weaken her. Hence the smaller body.

1 year just passes like that?? Or did she just make babies in the same year twice??
That girl is somewhat confusing me... what exactly happened with her??

The only sex so far seems to have been wolf on wolf and... the spider presumably got knocked up by and subsequently consumed some other male spider.

Oh yeah, and the pacing is also fucked.

Vampire girl? Nope. No sex, no implication of sex. I think she just changed what she called the MC because he saw her naked... and the pacing is fucked.

Honestly, none of this makes sense... but apparently he has been in this world for at least a year and a half, and procured a convenient spellcasting vampire waifu half a year ago (and has done nothing with her because he is Japanese)?

Wait, they had sex in the last panel of the last chapter? Wut?
Okay, I'm all for puritanism but this is just stupid. The manga was REALLY not much better than the WN, from what I was seeing, but it's actually worse apparently. Which is kind of amazing, in fact.
Dropped.

See ya around people.

I know I'm super late to contribute here, but the raws make it much clearer why Ru goes middle-schooler in the daytime (also, that's what he was commenting on, her getting small in the day, not her getting especially small at noon: "hiru" is both noon and day depending on context). The fans translated it as "mind your own business" for some reason, and the official publishers somehow came up with "treat me special", but the most accurate translation of what she said there would be "show/learn some restraint". In short, he inadvertently convinced her that he couldn't control himself when she looked like a high school or college student, so to get him to hold back in the daytime she takes on a form that's mature enough to work but immature enough to discourage him.

No one is angry about the magical salt bed a few inches under the ground that mysteriously doesn't kill every living thing in the goddamn soil?

This is how the Romans used to punish cities that particularly pissed them off. By sowing salt into the fields and poisoning the wells for miles around.

Some of the most inhospitable places on earth are dried up ancient seas. Almost totally barren because of the high salt content.

Amusingly ancient Roman irrigation practices were flawed and over time raised the salinity of the soil, leading to lower farm yeilds over time. Which probably substantially contributed to the fall of the empire.

Those guys were jerks anyway, so good riddance.

But salt, in the soil. It's harder for me to deal with than magic and spiders the size of a Mazda Miata.
