I don't have any issue with the fantasy elements. It's all the normal things that are just plain wrong that I dislike.
This is a survival/homesteading manga. You'd expect the author to actually know a bit about the subject, but nope. He has no idea how wood works, no idea how earthen structures work, no idea how stone tools work, no idea how salt beds work, etc. Modern objects just miraculously appear instead of homemade items appropriate to the setting. It's very apparent that the author did no research at all. I could accept that if this was just a generic fantasy manga, but homesteading is the entire point of the manga!

You should work on your reading comprehension. I could accept poor research in a generic fantasy manga. This isn't a generic fantasy manga, it's a survival/homesteading manga. If the author can't pull that off, they shouldn't attempt it in the first place.
Some amount of realism is expected in this genre. I have no problem with the idea that a god gave the dude a magic tool, because that's the fantasy element. I have a problem with the non-fantasy parts.
It's not a slow life. Slow life doesn't focus on the mechanics of how the characters interact with the world. This manga does focus on the mechanics, and gets them wrong every time.
That says a lot more about you than it does about the manga. Perhaps you should focus on your education more. Hydrology is a thing, the author chose to include it, the author got it wrong, and you didn't notice because you don't understand hydrology.

But if you want to come in here and start throwing insults, don't be surprised when you get them back in return. I'd recommend against it, however.
