Of course. It wouldn't be an isekai manga without the MC trying to make the perfect soy sauce. Even in one as atrociously paced and insanely stupid as this one, the fact that they spare a mention for miso and soy is so tragically inevitable.

And naturally they're all "IT'S SO DELICIOUS" about everything. Because all cooking in manga is either super delicious or literally toxic... and of course any and all cooking from the superior Yamato MC has to be in the former category.

Among other things, sometimes I wish I could just jump into an isekai series JUST to try the main character's cooking and remark "Tastes like arse." then spit it out.


... Kinda makes me miss things like Shokugeki no Souma... because at least in exclusively food-focused manga things tend to be a bit more international and not just "all hail the glorious Nippon master race".

Rereading this series, I always keep forgetting that Flora is a character. She was introduced relatively early, but appears very rarely. Hell, I think the head Oni Maid has been in more panels than her.
