It's been bothering me for a while why I'm even keeping up with this. I've dropped off manga that I'm actually invested in before but for some reason I'll always read when this when a new chapter comes out. But I've finally realized the reason I can keep up with this despite having not enjoyed it for so long is because I'm not invested.
This manga takes 0 effort to follow. Every chapter just matter of factly tells you what happened that day, week or even season. You don't need to keep track of which characters have what traits or how their dynamics are because the writer doesn't care. as long as you remember the MC is a farmer and he's banging every woman in his village there's no need to go back and refresh yourself after a long hiatus. "Who was that girl again? Doesn't matter. I guess she's pregnant with the MC's child but it's happened like 15 times already. Oh this chapter covers an entire year in universe? I guess only 2 things of note happened in 12 months for this growing frontier village."

It's just... a waste of time.

The only thing stopping me from dropping LH's translation and getting the official translations instead is that the character names are easier to follow here. That aside, LH's quality checks are very dubious and lazy it made me curious how many information are lost thanks to that, like, there are way too many speech bubbles with the same text in it, and then that textbox thing in recent uploads. Wowie.
