You know, holding a translation of a chapter hostage when other people can just get the raws and translate it themselves is stupid, right? Putting the matter of sniping aside, you're not twisting anyone's arm or holding any leverage. You just look like a scammer who's hoping that multiple dupes will paypal you money independently. And even then, you're asking for peanuts... are you in some 4th world country where a single US dollar buys you a mansion or something? It makes no sense to do this, on multiple levels.

You didn't do too bad a job with this translation, which is the weirdest part. You have the skills to apply on other series that aren't being worked on by other teams. This isn't a job, it's a hobby, but we still have etiquette and professionalism to think about, you know? And on the note of it being a hobby and not a job... don't expect income. If people donate raws to you, or commission translations for private use, that's fine, but you should be paying for everything out of pocket if you're unlicensed, generally speaking.

Normally I would just say something quippy and rude to a sniping team that begs for money, but since you did a pretty good job with your work (all things considered) it felt like you just needed some gentle correction. In the future, please conduct yourselves with more honor and more realistic expectations. I hope things go well for you once you start doing that.
