The only reason she acted so distant to others is to avoid getting them into trouble with the sun/tsun clan.
Her being on her own is not a big deal to her, since she takes pride in living the way she want.

For those confused why it's Rimi Ruu, not Rimee/Rimi Wu like what the LN translation translate. Ruu is the correct one. リミ=ルウ.
Maybe it's because Sky TL'ed the using the chinese raws. Need more info on this.
