I kinda feel like there isn't a point to this story anymore. When was the last time there was anything at stake? Ai Fa is still a cute muscle head, but that's about all this has going for it at this point.

Only thing I'm thinking after reading this......MC is mega ultra gggaaaaaaaayyyyy! Though the way I understand it from comments in the past the manga (more precise the LN) is only really about cooking and not much more happens...so.... not sure why I'm even reading this one 🤔

The last time there really felt like anything was at stake was when they were trying to establish the stall in town and even that was small scale. I guess it's just cuteness from the gruff Ai Fa now and the MC being completely oblivious to all the girls around him wanting him basically?

Aye. Feels like the story is groping around. Maybe if the author removes that stick reinforcing Ai Fa's spine, new things might start happening.

well, the story tries to establish hurdles that feel somewhat natural, even though the whole isekai part in itself is the direct opposite. he had to secure his place in the clan with Ai Fa, he had to secure his place in the village, he had to establish a shop without any credentials, all events which feel quite natural, so i guess the next arc will be similar in tone. maybe asuta will open a restaurant, turning this into a weird kind of izakaya story, or the village will face a manmade/natural disaster so he needs to adapt to it.
at the moment though, yeah, there's not much going, aside from introducing new characters, but i'd still expect a few arcs here.

I feel like the situation was forcibly escalated to make a "funny" break before next arc/part.
