First, "I'm not flirting with anyone since I don't have feelings for anyone" makes no sort of fucking sense. Completely illogical.

Secondly, even if was not a stupid attempt at justification : "I don't have feelings for anyone" is a dumbass thing to say to the person who has been protecting and hosting you for months, is in love with you, and is currently having a jealousy outburst.

So, yeah, good job mate, you managed to critically fumble twice in the same sentence. Go MC !

And all he had to say was "Oh, no I'm not flirting, you know I only have eyes for you." But obviously that's beyond the strength of any shonen MC…

Also, I guess this chapter is the source for the cover of volume 11, meaning this chapter is badly categorised and should not be filled as part of volume 10.

I actually read this as a bit more somber than it seems like. Ruu realized that Ai Fa was depressed, and quickly threw together some wine to get her drunk and take some of the tension out of the scenario. The rest of the chapter was them dealing with a drunken Ai Fa, who wasn't entirely in her right mind, but could at least forget her worries for a little while. That said, the MC doesn't feel this situation is sustainable.

This writing gives the vibe of someone who thinks people use their tie as a bandana and wear a lampshade as a hat when they drink
