Hey, the number one rule for a true harem protagonist is to make sure your harem is satisfied! The mission (and snake) can wait until then.
There's even a scripture about that (kinda):
Exodus 21: 7-11 says that if a man has a servant wife, and he takes another wife and gives the servant was less of time, clothes, or food: that she is free to go without any trouble for her or payment from her.
A man with a harem must be good to his harem or he is just an affluent monster.
That is why i don't like 100 girlfriend's nor 1:39 ratio world. One relies on reality bending powers to properly satisfy the expanding harem. The other relies on delusions to keep the girls satisfied.
There's a reason why the Old Testament put a cap on how many women a man could have. Too many is too cruel to them, even if you're king.
