Being a yandere and being an piece of shit aren't really the same thing. Sure, a yandere is never going to be 100% a saint but they can have positive qualities. The ones in this story in particular get introduced as a party that HAS done good and literally the previous chapters showed them hunting down a criminal while still being psychos obsessed with MC, so I assumed it was a "they are heroes but also batshit insane" deal.

But yeah, maybe I got it wrong. If there isn't really a single positive quality to them and they are all just petty assholes then I'll just drop this.

I think in a story like this, it's important that the girls are funny. And dropping their objections at the mentions of fashion and beauty salons sure is funny.
Whether they are really good people remains to be seen. I think it's the case of a MC who contracted a powerful demon, and tries to use the demon's powers for good. Except that the demon is 9 yandere instead.
