Forget about rifles, he'll need to invent nukes to impress them.Honestly it's a breath of fresh air that the MC doesn't have all the answers right away and the locals immediately grasp the limitations of new technology rather than ooh-ing and ahh-ing, so this was fun. He'll probably have to skip upgrading to Flintlocks and go straight to Percussion Rifles to impress the tribe.
Yeah its great to see for once that no a Old timey Flintlock is in fact not that usefull but also just kinda speaks for howncrazy th3se demons are and honestly makes you think wow humanity lucky that most of them are dumb as bricksOh, the return ofnighttimebathtime battles
It's refreshing to see an "invention" of an isekai'd MC be laughed at like this. He just thought about the impact the rifle had on earth and completely disregarded the local population's abilities. Though he could've mentioned how effective it'd be against humans. Cause that's who the demons are fighting mostly, right?
Forget about rifles, he'll need to invent nukes to impress them.
They'll find a way to criticize it too. "It takes too long to make! I'd be able to kill as much people within that time!" "Too fragile! It could blow up on us!" But I can easily see them play bomb toss with it. Like, "Hey, bring me "that!" proceeds to Uryaaaaaah! Then nukes a faraway castle out of existence by tossing it far away"Forget about rifles, he'll need to invent nukes to impress them.

They only live to dig holes
Like I said. Those guys are musclebrains. They'd probably try to toss the cannonball until they can reach the same result as the cannon.A cannon artillery piece would have been a much more effective demonstration. Even the demons can't break down castle walls, but show them a cannon blasting a hole through rock and they will become impressed. Reload time and immobility doesn't matter as much because it's a seige weapon.
Also I bet the demons would have liked gunpowder packed with stones into round clay shells quite a bit more than the musket too.
Hence point number 2: we pack explosives into clay pots and let the demons chuck em.Like I said. Those guys are musclebrains. They'd probably try to toss the cannonball until they can reach the same result as the cannon.![]()
They have a character that they can't make a retainer because he's not proven to be trustworthy... So they immediately put him in charge of training troops? If he was a traitor, isn't giving him command like that a stupid move?
Honestly it would be cool if MC went for guns that are wildly impractical IRL just because the Demons are that OP. Dual wield full auto .50 BMGs or something.Anti-tank sniper semi-automatic riffles would be cool here, thou something tells me even super-sonic ammunition would be to slow for those monsters.
