Good! Out manned up and used bluff successfully! I was hoping he would run over the invaders but cars are expensive.

And if you look closely at the extra preview material it looks like male colleague is getting NTR'd in the corner :dogkek:
Same, was hoping for him BTFOing the mage at 50-60 mph... but then the Dragon's probably non-magical fire breath and absolutely non-magical thigh muscles + talons would be a like reenactment of a Jurassic Park movie.

Still, wish he had played some fuckin' tunes to really freak 'em out - Guess it wouldn't work well in a MANGA/LN though.

And yeah, the Office Lady love triangle arc is about to start.
Out's otherworld cheat is that his wagecucking aura becomes noticeable by every manager/supervisor within the combined measured distance of 2 branch office locations from his wagecage.

Guessing that her future self wrote that book of prophecies to help them in the past.

Which implies something bad happens to them in the future for her to need to send a warning to the past to avert whatever happens.

Well we know that every attempt mentioned in the book failed.
So they probably fled the village.
I wonder if the other godkin is actually him from further in future lol

Also this is 5-way harem I guess :x
Slow down there friend, its not that deep yet.
But yeah, i think that is true...
Time travel is a very powerful ability after all.

Thank you for the chapter!
You know what? I hadn't considered that Azu could have been the one to make the book, but in hindsight it should have been so obvious. It just makes sense!

And yeah dude, on page 26 "there are others like me?" Like yeah dude, in chapter 1 you were already told you aren't even the first person from another world that Kyara had met. I agree with the theory that the other person or people could all be him from varying points in time because that would be a fun concept.

I love this story so much, I love that his third time in the other world is actually much further in the future meaning that there is likely a timeline split from that point on.

Since if Azu wrote the book of prophecies, then the events written of in the book happened and now they are changing the outcomes most likely.

Also I wonder if this is going to be the extent of him appearing non linearly through time.

Good thing the Outrunner is a hybrid so that it can make menacing engine noises when it needs to (though I guess they were just mostly flashing the lights).

I wonder who the destroyer godkin is and I'm guessing he might meet them. I think Out probably isn't the destroyer; he doesn't have any magic circuit and his ability is basically to trigger the Outrunner's magic circle to travel through time and worlds. On the other hand, we've learned that humans from his world are compatible with magic, namely Miya, and that they can be quite talented, apparently. I'm quite sure Miya has every intention to keep coming back and to learn magic so she might actually be the person Nimbus is referring to.

I'm curious how he'll solve the aging issue; as he's stated, he'll appear to be aging faster in his world due to spending extra time in otherworlds. Considering he can time travel, I wouldn't be surprised if his time was frozen in some way while in the other world, or maybe magic can somehow restore youth. Azu has been shown to have some capability of analysing the Outrunner's magic, and will apparently achieve other things which will help Out in his journey, such as the book.

Jyuumonji fan: rejoicing!

Regarding the other Godkin. If it's not Out, it could be Miya or Jyuumonji. Just got told Miya had the potential to learn magic, and we already know she has magical girl brainrot. If Miya can learn magic, other otherworlders can get powers too.

I'm a bit leery that he let Nimbus Chronicle (Chortle) and Dragon Muscle got away. They are superpowered human trafficker murderers, living to murder another day seems bad. But I agree that Out didn't have a way to effectively get them both. Probably he could have ran over Nimbus, except Pops was standing in the way. There was zero chance they could take a dragon in a fight without siege weapons or something. It was a losing battle so he had to use Stragey #29, Decorate the Tree with False Blossoms.

Since it hasn't been brought up, the inserts of Vol 1 - 4 are pieces of the other world's map, Azu's village is marked with the red X and Kyara's village is marked with the blue X. Azu's place is labelled as a "country" instead of village.

I feel like buying a gun in his original world and taking it with him to this one would be a good idea. Getting a weapon permit might be a bit of a hassle, but it's not like it's impossible in Japan. I think that it's extremely naive of him not to prepare any form of self-defense that would actually give him an advantage over the people of this world. If he's suffering from the Japanese protagonist syndrome (complete pacifism), he could just get a non-lethal weapon like a pepper ball gun.

I find it quite disappointing that, up until this point, basically every problem was solved by just getting into the Outrunner. At least this time, he actually did something besides flooring it to solve the issue.

Kasra was exiled from the village and had his magic sealed. Even though it must be hard for his daughter, I think this was a much better outcome, since he would have been executed in every route of the prophecy.
OF COURSE he wasn't executed or imprisoned — the author has to recycle him as the villain, after all. Oh sure, letting an enemy who knows most of your village’s secrets walk away is definitely a brilliant strategy. God, what a bunch of cretins.
