One thing I appreciate about this series is that it would be so easy for it to just write all the archbishops off as corrupt members of a secretly evil church like they would be in 90+% of other Dark Isekai series, but the writer is going the extra mile to make them all people who genuinely want to do good, even if they're working in a corrupt system.
(of course, now I've written this down, watch as they all pull heel turns in 30 chapters...)
