Yo, this is some real good development for Sensei. He really found something to live for. And he broke away from Sacchan's toxic personality. And I'm pretty sure this "double suicide" was originally her idea.

As a person, absolutely
As this character, Sensei juts lost most of his haunted character charm, at least to me
Given these past two chapters I think the author will still pull it off, or at least I hope...
