I always used either a fork, or chopsticks, for that.
But yes, it is only common sense and obvious etiquette, to not eat chips etc. with your hands when borrowing someone else's controller and gaming. And even moreso if it is a book made out of paper.
Perfectly fine to grease down your own stuff (I do that myself at times), but not stuff that are not.

I heard about them a couple years ago, when some people went viral eating chips with chopsticks, and all the online shops started cashing in selling chip tongs. Even She Hulk was using some while driving around with Bruce in her first episode.

Does isekai world even have chips yet? He certainly could introduce them, alongside the tongs, but most isekai stories have the character ""invent"" the various deep fried potato products.

that would be great marketing for an actor in a live action tho but i'd assume ppl would think he was a cosplayer (altho i'd think there'd be magic if not basic hairstyle/sunglasses to hide ur looks, tho imagine if his personality of the chara was also the exact same just gay)

tho would be interesting if he went to comiket or so just in his isekai clothes and see how many ppl are like "are you xx-kun from Y series?" lol (but i guess it'd be too outta chara/pain for the artist to be like "i'm gonna give myself a buzz cut outta spite" xD)
