Most likely got tricked and betrayed by someone he trusted there. Only way I see how they would even had gotten him in those magic sealing chains/circle in Chp. 1 with his strength.

He probably allowed himself to be captured to minimize deaths, but seeing the danger level of the three we've seen so far I don't understand why he thought allowing himself to be executed was in the best interests of ANYONE in the other world. But then again, this is an MC who believes hiding his power(which he will be forced to reveal at some point in the future, without doubt) instead of revealing it and gathering people to support him so he won't be feared and purged so his decision making is already suspect to begin with,

from what we saw of Luna and Sol last chapter, All his summons appear to have a Yandere level fixation from the ptsd of watching him die before their eyes at the minimum(assuming they weren't already at least, as they were all in his shadow during the execution and had to watch him die), i assume, like several others, they probably turned that country to GLASS when they were all released from his shadow post-mortem.
i wonder if there's gonna be any "token male" summons at some point that also have yandere-like fixations on him..., would be amusing at least.

Well the country want to use his power for the king own benefit and mc refuses, so thats why the king execute him for treason

I've not read the novel but that's kinda retarded I'm not going to lie

In a hostage situation like this, there's no way you could believe the king anyway. The king will surely kill all your friends and associates to avoid problems, why would he not?
Also, as someone else said, there's no guarantee that your summons, freed from your contract, would not level the country anyway. We've seen in this chapter, this was exactly the case. Lycoris wanted to destroy that world
You might as well just fight, with how powerful you are you likely need only kill the king and maybe a couple of advisors and you're done.

I've not seen plagiarism like this in a long time.... The Messiah manga was kinda original, but this it a total ripofff.

Mind you, I'm not saying it's a WRONG mindset. Just.... WHY do you even assume that's remotely possible? Why do you have this burning conviction you'll be able to so something so convenient as giving this body back?

I'm not saying I would not try to gather information about my situation, but I would consider it extremely unlikely, just something to keep an eye out maybe someday. I would certainly not go on a "must give this body back" crusade instantly.
And I would certainly be hesitant about, you know, dying if I am succesful....
