I don't get why he didn't bother fighting back. He has all that power but he allowed himself to be killed?

It's a similar start, but it's definitely not panel by panel.I can't remember the series name but this first chapter is practically panel to panel identical to it. Same premise with the mc waking up in the hospital after dying in another world, feigning amnesia and then finding out that their world now has magic and is different then before, they get into an accident with their parents and then they go stop a monster and then pretend they aren't strong and have no clue how the monster died when another person shows up to deal with the incident. The characters may be different but man oh man it is like word for word the exact same as this other series
Thinking of the tropes and manga using them. That would be "The Savior «Messiah»: The Former Hero Who Saved Another World Beats the Real World Full of Monsters", the start is nearly one to one except different powers
Clearly they caught him in a trap. The magic circle at the execution site is probably a magic/power restraint.I don't get why he didn't bother fighting back. He has all that power but he allowed himself to be killed?

I feel like I’m overthinking it but after he fights back and clearly annihilates them all, what next? Will he just chill as the world’s greatest enemy and someone to be feared?Clearly they caught him in a trap. The magic circle at the execution site is probably a magic/power restraint.
That said, he's accepting rather than vengeful at being betrayed. So, he's a weak character from the get-go.
Obviously, he only has to fight/intimidate those who are active threats to him, which will be a relatively small group of people. Even then he doesn't have to be an "enemy" to all of them. Just beat/kill some of them, then threaten the rest until they fall into line. Once they fall into line, then the beef is over.I feel like I’m overthinking it but after he fights back and clearly annihilates them all, what next? Have a wonderful Christmas!
If you don’t celebrate Christmas have a wonderful whatever holiday you celebrate
Of course the beasts can turn into girls, and they're all inside him.
Are we sure they are not hyenas, if you know what I mean?Inside you there are two wolves...
Was trying to remember that manga, thanks broThat would be "The Savior «Messiah»: The Former Hero Who Saved Another World Beats the Real World Full of Monsters", the start is nearly one to one except different powers
at least after i read the WN, there's something unique about the mc circumstances
the current mc supposedly hijack the original mc body in that world
and what surprising me is the local mc on that world is considered as one of the best supporter for the childhood friend, even tough he doesnt have any magic
usually in this kind of setting the mc in that world is seldom to be respected since he cant use magic, didnt expect he got quite high value there, this make the current mc harder to act like what the mc on that world usually do since they have different role
and this also make the mc feel very guilty for hijacking the body since the mc on that world is a hard working person, vowing to return the body by exploring the dungeon hoping to found a method (he discover this through a diary written by the original mc)
is it just me feeling this but why does this story feel like 80% “The Savior «Messiah»: The Former Hero Who Saved Another World Beats the Real World Full of Monsters”?
Hmm you do have a good point. I do think I was overthink it and under thinking it at the same time.Obviously, he only has to fight/intimidate those who are active threats to him, which will be a relatively small group of people. Even then he doesn't have to be an "enemy" to all of them. Just beat/kill some of them, then threaten the rest until they fall into line. Once they fall into line, then the beef is over.
Of course, there can be a lot of potential variations in details of this scenario. E.g. the king commanded the betrayal, and it was carried out by helpers Bob, Jim and Ted. Then kill the king, claim the king was possessed by demons, then tell Bob, Jim and Ted "Help me out here, or you're next on the kill list." Problem solved, and MC is back to being the hero again, then retires to live an SOL.
Typical beta-male japanese.I don't get why he didn't bother fighting back. He has all that power but he allowed himself to be killed?
