Reclaiming lost territory overrun by monsters is actually a pretty unique concept for isekai. This series really does deserve its 8/10 rating since it's just barely better than mediocre and does have some pretty interesting ideas as well as not falling into generic traps like having a huge harem, not having the MC buy/sell slaves, and having actual threats that could plausibly kill the MC.

Nobody. I read the novel a long time ago if I remember correctly it's purely adventure and no romance at all.

That means behind the scene the King monitor Kaede but chose to not interact directly. Probably realized that if they handle it poorly he would go to other nations at best or destroy them at worst.

That said I am expecting the sea to be also inhabited by even bigger monsters.

MC has cleared out a lot of threes but the forest is still there and without MC babysitting you guys it will just quickly grow back not to mention do you even have the manpower to hold Brocken? you had to retreat because you didn't and now you are barely able to hold on to the city you have.

Depends on the details, ig. It'd be feasible if the operation only focuses on reclaiming the Pillar and moving it to Decibatre, then retreating.

Though, since our MC has killed 5 times more trees than the yearly output in the few days he's been here, I wouldnt be surprised if they can establish a permanent supply corridor to Brocken.

Sometimes it is not mentioned again but sometimes it was shown in a symbolic way. In Suikoden II they are gone to buy a wooden amulet for a girl then the massacre happened and said girl became mute , in the final battle with the one responsible they used the medal to alert them where he is and filled him with arrows.


That said , If MC has production cheat he could make a fort .
