For real, so many series are "black hair bad!" and i'm thinking, 'Just shave your head then' escape the issues.

One thing I was kind of enjoying so far in this series is that, so far, the MC isn't some kind of over-powered chosen one. Sure, he has an appraisal ability, but that Hophelm dude also seems to have it, and Miiniya and Lania are natural-born mages. They're probably more competent and lucky than everyone around them, but that's just average protagonist power.

It will be so over if he's suddenly the reincarnation/descendant of The Mythical Hero who has god-like powers or something like that.
