@gregger I don't believe it's going to be one sided. We still don't know what kind of medieval army backed with magic is look like. Even the mc did expect his enemy have magic tool that is equivalent to a spy cam. With magic, anything is possible, who said the enemy don't have magician that have spell similar to artillery barrage. Maybe it's the enemy who will use poison smoke magic and rendered the trench useless.

That duke should be escorted to the headsman's block. He's not just a conservative of the noble faction, he's guilty of high treason. I hope the king learns of this before the duke can kick the bucket naturally. It would actually be funny if he had a medical condition the MC can heal, and after that, when the duke thinks he's still going to live for a good long while, he'll be executed for treason.

so.... after they finally purge all the rotten nobles, will their even been more then a handful left? Every few chapters we find yet another half dozen conspiring idoits that are willing to do literally anything to kill the king, or the MC, or someone close to either of them... just feels like there is a never ending parade of crooked nobles much I. The same way cultivators fly out of every dark corner to kill the MC of a xanxia novel...

Regretly, I don't think we would be able to see the end of this manga. It cover a scope too grand that a monthly release like this could keep the hype on. And the isekai/tensei trope hype will passmuch faster than this manga release rate an getting axed at that time is a forseeable future.

@werewolf914 Honestly this manga's basic fantasy and storytelling elements are so strong I always forget it's an isekai until our technology comes up somewhere. The Isekai fad passing should have minimal effects on fans of the manga, but I do agree on the fact that the scope is too big for this kind of release rate.

@no168_92: Usually, smaller chapters like this are created to properly reach the required number of pages in a Volume release. The can't reduce the number of chapters per Volume release easily, and some chapter required more number of pages, so this got shortened in return (normally, this series has 20-24 pages per chapter, but a few were 30 pages long as well).
