Fun fact: The countries in this world are based out of mostly European countries on Earth.

Mauricia(Balud's home country) is England
-English Names like William, Henry and Margaret.
-Two Lions heraldry
Trystovy=Italy
-Italian names like Girolamo and Margueritte
-Cities names are based out of Italian cities.
-Divided Trystovy ressembles Italy during the middle ages where they were divided into numerous states
-Mulberry(The Venice of this world) is a semi autonomous merchant republic ruled by it's own senate.
Haurelia=France
-French Names like Francois
Sanjuan and Majorca=Spain
-Spanish Names
-Cities based out of Spanish cities
-Country has a warm climate compared to the rest of the continent.
-People have monickers like "Negra Tempesta"
Nordland=Scandinavia
-Scandinavian last names like Mannerheim and first names like Gustav.
Gartlake=Japan

Also regarding Princess Margueritte
It's Balud's Mom Maggot. This was her original name but changed it due to some sad events in her past which involves her running away from Trystovy.
This also means Balud and Silk are second cousins.

There are quite a few translation errors.
Like on page 15, it says that
"The former Queen of the Trystovy Kingdom, Silk's mother, is married to Alford."
But it's actually is,
"Silk's Mother, a former Princess of the Trystovy Kingdom was married to Alford"
The first part of the translation is inaccurate as Alford didn't marry the former Queen, but rather her daughter.
Secondly, Silk's Mother wasn't really the Queen, she was one of the legal wives of the King (the Queen was someone else).

Technically they are half-cousins (not second-cousin, but first-cousin), as while their Grandfather is the same, their Grandmother's are different, aka., Silk's Mother & Maggot were Half-sisters.
Selina is also a distant cousins (a second cousin, to be exact) to Balud/Bard, as their Great-grandmother is the same (Selina isn't half-related like Silk), aka., Balud/Bard's Grandmother & Selina's Grandfather were direct siblings.

that's the only two, the only other time we here that name in the story so far is when Zirco reminisce to baldr that maggot said this once

Yes. His claim is a lot stronger than Silk's.
Yeah, because unlike Silk's Mother who was married away and officially removed from Royal family listing.
Maggot wasn't officially removed from the Royal family listing, as she was considered dead.
So, even after Maggot marrying Balud/Bard's father, she is still part of the Royalty, and Balud/Bard and his younger twin siblings are heir to the throne.
Though it would be more accurate to say that Balud/Bard has a "Claim to the Throne", not heir to the Throne.
Silk still has her claim on it, but Balud/Bard has a higher positioning than her claim.
