Now that I think about it, the "uber virgin MC" trend appears way too often in manga I read (I am not complaining XD). Just curious, why do a lot of manga use this trait as a base for main characters? Is it because it gives a lot of room for character development in relation with the heroines? Or is it just a trend that attracts certain readers? Or maybe this is how some Japanese males are? (the last one might be a bit too far fetched i think)

Enlighten me pls.
Short version, it hypes up the "Good Guy" image for a protagonist.

Bruh, it's so obvious the only reason he was removing the clothing was to reveal it was a girl. Why not think of using the clothing to throw off the trail and find out then? Really weird scene

Wait, did Sora have two coats? We see him cutting up his own coat as evidence, but then he puts a coat on 13 to give her replacement clothes, that looks exactly like the coat he just cut up. Does he have two identical coats? Did he cut up his coat, and then give it to 13, meaning only 13's clothes were left as evidence?

I feel like I'm missing something, for such a seemingly obvious discrepancy.
I think its just one of his spare coats that probably has the same design. Sora probably isn't carrying around clothes that would fit a child so just put that on her since it's probably the only thing that would fit without falling off.

I thought the fake death was smart, but the more I thought about it the more ???? I was

Wouldn't someone think that they were severely wounded, in a rush to escape leaving precious belongings behind, and shed their coats off to throw off their scent?

There's also no trace of any body remnants, so if they were dead, why or how would the ogres take their coats off them???

But I know the fake death is gonna be convincing because this isn't a crime mystery series
He's pretending they got beaten by ogres, they eat humans, so there wouldn't be any remains anyway. Ogres also don't have any interest in human clothes, so it would make sense that they'd be left behind. Although I'd probably expect them to be torn as well as slashed since they'd be tearing them off the body, not taking them off neatly.

Yup, that's what I meant in my last point. If the ogres got to them, why the cloaks are relatively in one piece, and why cloaks and no other clothing.

1. Bitching mc is a pervert when he fantasies or fondles girls

2. Bitching mc is self aware of intimacy and tries to not be a pervert

Today's bingo is #2

Honestly wish 13 was a he not a she, that would be something new. They would bro team up and have something for Rurika, unless she will probably be a 3rd of many wheels...

Well in a lot of cases the MCs are like 15 there are some who are adults. In this story it makes since she's just some passed out random girl, while it would be understandable to not blindfold himself since doing so most certainly hampers his work. In other stories where the girl/girls are basically throwing themselves at the MC, it is less so special when the MC is a full-grown adult. The last one isn't that far-fetched when you know there's a birthing crisis going on in Japan. To use the term I see in a lot of mangas, the majority of Japanese men and women are herbivores.

Soooo, that's cool that he left traces of clothes but what about the actual corpses? Am I stupid?

corresponding to the orc group before, the two of them chasing MC down is still 'alive', got both of them, and maybe might have carried them somewhere. I would say it's more like they disappeared along with the orcs, but the authorities will see a struggle beforehand
