Fun fact, did you know that some Shredded cheese is coated with finely ground sawdust? It's only function is to keeps the cheese from clumping together and add a non-zero ammount of bulk weight to the product xD.

Yeah, if you ever look at the ingredients on a bottle of powdered cheese for pasta and whatnot, it'll say "cellulose powder," which is just sawdust.

it can be sure but it isn't harmful and makes it so the thing of powdered cheese you bought is still powder which is kind of the point..... don't want cellulose powder added to cheese don't buy it pre grated.... if it was being added for any thing but an anti caking agent it would be in blocks of cheese as well
