She didn't do those things with malicious intent. She did them because they felt right at the time, and she didn't imagine how they would make Hiromi feel. Inconsiderate, but because of ignorance. Since it was her first time dating I can chalk it up to inexperience + her circumstances as a student close to a decade younger than him. She didn't know what she was doing, and hopefully she can learn from it and avoid doing it in the future. If you weigh her handful of relationship mistakes against all her other behaviors, she's just a normal girl.

Meanwhile, Hiromi also made mistakes with Lili that contributed to the break up. Like when he made up scenarios in his head about her cheating on him or abandoning him, get jealous and possessive over stuff she hadn't done, and started distancing himself from her.

Neither of them communicated well, but that's like the third most common thing in Manga. I still consider them nice people.

I think the "Lili dread" as you initially termed it is because she's calling him at 10 at night, which is a weird time to be calling your ex that you chose to break things off with. She and Hiromi are not a good fit together, and with the way the author tends to loop relationship drama between characters, this feels like a flag that could potentially set Hiromi up for further problems at the hands of someone who he, at most, needs to have a conversation with for closure's sake so that they can both move on from one another.
But again - if that's the reason she called, she picked a very weird time of night to do so, especially when a text message would have probably been more reasonable when making a request--assuming it was important enough that it couldn't just wait until he was back home, since there's nothing saying that he's going to be staying in his hometown longer than he needs to.

While some might see this as an L, I disagree. Hiromi treated Nonoka with nothing but respect. He could’ve easily pressed the issue, she was the one who suggested going to a love hotel, and she seemed comfortable with the idea. But when she passed out drunk, he understood she might not be in her right mind. Instead of taking advantage, he chose to simply sleep beside her.

When she woke up and realized she still had all her clothes on, that he hadn’t done anything, she respected that. And what did she do? The exact same thing, she mirrored his respect and didn’t try to escalate anything either.

To me, this moment could be foreshadowing something between them. Maybe not a long-term relationship, but something real that comes from mutual respect. Even if it doesn’t last, it could lead to something meaningful in the short term.

Now, the real question is, should he tell Lili what happened?

In my honest opinion, no. Lili broke up with him. They’re just exes sharing a space now, and he doesn’t owe her an explanation. But knowing how kind-hearted Hiromi is, he’ll probably tell her anyway, and that’s only going to stir up unnecessary drama. It might even push Lili to confide in her male best friend, who could take that as a chance to make a move on her. But that’s a bridge we’ll cross when we get there.

As for Hiromi, I don’t see this as an L at all. Whether it’s a relationship or something physical, the last thing you want to do is make the other person feel uncomfortable. And in this case, Hiromi showed real restraint and respect. So yeah, maybe things didn’t go the way he hoped, but that doesn’t mean he lost.

This was a good way to handle, better than the MC rejecting her as they do it leading to her feeling worse, its a bit dumb yeah but shows she's thinking of him seriously and so is he

Lili relationship was so weird, MC got jealous too quick but he tried to communicate soon after and she just bailed, that relationship should never happen again.

Author should really develop this current relationship with the school friend, they both seem to work really well together but given the title of the manga and the history of this author, i doubt it.

I agree. We both know that Hiromi potentially getting with Nonoka is probably just something temporary until he ends up going back to Tokyo. And you're right, he and Lili should’ve never been together in the first place.

Like I’ve said plenty of times, after he broke up with Chika, he should’ve taken a step back and focused on some self-growth before jumping into another relationship. Lily just happened to come along at the wrong time, and you could tell from the moment they got together that they didn’t belong together.

It’s honestly frustrating that the writer is still trying so hard to force these two back into each other’s lives. I don’t get it. They don’t even have anything in common. If Lili has more chemistry with her best friend, then let her be with her best friend. Stop dangling her in front of Hiromi like we’re supposed to root for that.

Clearly, the majority of fans don’t want to see that. But like you said, if this is anything like Domestic Girlfriend, their relationship probably isn’t over yet. And yeah, that really sucks.
