Yes, it can happen. In the real world, it would prompt a trip to the doctor though, but it's also no secret that in too many places there's no access to reliable healthcare, and even if there is, there's cultural stigma, so yeah... It's not that far fetched to let it go that far to just grin and bare it once a month.I'm no girl so, can girls really just colapse like that from her period?
If so, jeez, once a month?
As much as people dislike Kei-sensei previous work, we can't deny she's still better than your average romance writer (and also i think it's unfair using only one of her works to deny her experience)
Really want to get into and enjoy this but that last series from her sigh Just hope things here don't have the same issues like ignoring and hiding attempted rape
Hmm I guess it really depends on the theming of the story. SoL can be just pure romcom or taken seriously here is seems to be more serious and dramatic than romcom. And I seriously do agree female writers are better more often than not but I still don't know if I entirely agree with that sentiment. It's always disappointing to see this phenomena. There's no doubt in my mind that female mangakas are better, on average, at writing slice of life with dramatic or romantic flair, often with refreshing takes and well constructed character dynamics. But it always boggles my mind how they fall into toxic traps, over and over again. It would be fine to showcase toxic behavior with the proper context, but it's also very important to show it has consequences, if it's decided to go that route.
It's something dudes say when they feel like they aren't getting enough attention from the people around them...i have genuinely no idea what a "boy's day" is meant to be
I wouldn't say it's because it's sexy, it's more because it's familiar. People that suffer toxic behavior are drawn to stories that showcases it, because it allows to empathize with the MC. This applies to both authors and readers. Also toxic behavior is sexy and woman do tend to view those as attractive for better or worse. It's why shoujo and josei tends to have those types of characters a lot.
Taking into account the situation, those are a life saver. Also, dayum son, he got her the fat lady super-flow pads lol
He did the maxi-pad version of, "Let's nuke it from orbit, it's the only way to be sure"Taking into account the situation, those are a life saver.
Nah I'd say it's sexy dark triad traits are seen as attractive. Whether they're toxic doesn't matter if you find it attractive.I wouldn't say it's because it's sexy, it's more because it's familiar. It's a vicious cycle, and showcasing consequences helps breaking it, but sadly authors often don't have that fortitude. The editors don't help either, because I'm pretty sure they pressure the authors to showcase tropes.
Exactly Peace of mind on that regard is amazing especially if you are already energy depleted. He did the maxi-pad version of, "Let's nuke it from orbit, it's the only way to be sure"
It's enough people to make it a trend, not all, granted, but way too many people. I also speak from my own anecdotal experience. Every single person I know that likes that kind of stuff has been in therapy for abuse.Nah I'd say it's sexy dark triad traits are seen as attractive. Also that's a bold claim to just paint both readers and author that they suffered some form of emotional abuse and write it in their stories. Sure that could be an explanation for some but the vast majority? Pretty sure it's just sexy.
I think it's a failure of mothers not to teach their sons any of this. Many of us have to learn from our girlfriends or the internet. Maybe even from manga like this.I appreciate this honestly, I just learnt a few days ago from my mom how pads work (I'm 23 sadly) so reading this gave me a new information 😌
I know about how period works and all the different things happen to every women, but never asked about how pads worked 😂
Also poggers on that girl for being the first one to initiate, and I also hope he doesn't fall in love with the idol hopefully.
Some women can have really heavy/painful periods. They probably wont collapse every month but it's a possibility that they may collapse from anemia/low blood pressure. There are also some girls with period cramps so painful that it's debilitating. So always be mindful!I'm no girl so, can girls really just colapse like that from her period?

I mean I can say the exact same thing but my anecdotal evidence comes from observations of how women reacted to Twilight and 50 shades of Grey. Along with fanfiction works. I think saying it's just abuse is an excuse to divert from the fact that women just find those traits attractive. It's enough people to make it a trend, not all, granted, but way too many people. Unfortunately it's not that, it's not an excuse, I wish it was, but it's not: it's a sign of abusive experience. I've been there, with the same opinion as you when I was younger, until I started reading on the subject, on how people process trauma, because I had friends going through it, and it was confusing to see such dissociation.I mean I can say the exact same thing but my anecdotal evidence comes from observations of how women reacted to Twilight and 50 shades of Grey. It's not like liking those traits are bad and those traits are inheritly bad it's just those traits tend to be used negatively more often than not.
