tbh I wasn't even mad, dome kanojo was a self-aware dumpster fire, and that made it fun. It was a good bad ending. To quote a lyric, "All my favorite singers couldn't sing."

I honestly really like this cast of characters. I always felt DomeKano was Sasuga being a little too ambitious for her own good (not a particularly bad thing, but we all know how much of a heavily mixed reception Domekano has). I like this new work precisely because it's simpler and more digestable in comparison. It's Sasuga reigning herself in a bit while still being on brand the way I see it.
