. She trains, preparing herself for the actual fight that will inevitably come for her. Be that with the group when they try to make her bait, or when there is no bait and she has to best the monster outside. What she told those two to do is the truth, and the reason she isn't trying to help anyone further than that is because ultimately this group is ok with The Bait System.

They are ok with being Sheep, they are ok with murdering each other, they're fine with sacrifice so long as they aren't picked...for now. And you want her to work with these people? To save them? To put her life on the line and potentially in their hands? To take command and have all their attention turned on to her?

She's not just an Asshole. She's an Asshole with a brain that will not allow others to use her.

No. We see other characters just accept their deaths as they know there isn't any real way for the individual them to fight back. Just some false hope that they might live. It's why the fat guy runs for his life. It's why the MC allows the leader to keep picking him. Not until Okubo decides to stand up do we actually see a character try to genuinely fight.

She is special because she actually is trying to prepare herself for that fight, that is what makes her special-or are you saying she should've gone out there earlier to die when she isn't ready? And that's on top of her not sucking up to anyone, as proven

. The MC and his fat friend let themselves be used as clowns in order to not get thrown out, the mc himself keeps trying to get the camera guy thrown out. She is the only one who's not a part of the inner circle that is a wolf in her own right, the rest are Sheep.

And you know this because you wanted her to take control of the situation. Which means you want her to lead. Which means you want her to save everyone.
