This was pretty good and deep. I see a lot of potential. Despite young she's pretty cold. I like that. The MC needs a lot more work though, his reason/logic isn't enough for me because it just makes him seem Beta. It does feel a little rush but maybe because it's a 1-shot.

@UnknownSaint111 I think if you approve more of coldness than goodness, on the grounds that being a good person is "Beta" no less, you may want to do some thinking about your own ethical framework. Admittedly, he's a bit extreme, but still, empathy is a Good Thing. The cold, self-centred outlook is, as we speak, causing civilization to fall.
