With the manga ending at chapter 20, I thought that after Kou said to Ayano that he knew about her notebook, Kou would come to the sudden realization that for their relationship, it doesn't need to be Ayano that confesses, but Kou can just confess to Ayano. Kou doesn't need to die and they have a happy relationship.

Damn now I'm depressed because this series got axed and it really had a lot of potential especially with the femboy (or not) side plot with the obsessed maid/teacher, and the cat god also had a lot of potential for a storyline... Oh well😔 it was a nice and short read🫡 wished it was longer and had a loophole where he can confess but he'd probably die.
