I call bullshit on the author, even if Oscar is a god, this is fucked up. He can't allow her to marry anyone, apparently including himself, since he's always in the position to marry her himself when he drops his signature line, but he does it because he only wants her to be happy? No, even if her marriages always went down bad ends, like This Time I Will Definitely Be Happy!, doesn't mean that her life can't have some happy moments mixed in.

No he isn't. That kind of talk won't be tolerated. There has never been any situation in any universe in the entire history of spacetime where anyone has looked better without glasses than with. It is a complete impossibility.
